Prepare to be blessed! :)
If the song has a message......Radio has given it a voice.....
"I would just like to tell you my story, I lost my husband that fateful
day and I was so sad , I didn't think I could bear the pain, we had been
married for one year two days before , and I honestly thought I would
die , and for all I knew I wanted to as well , but that same day all the
TV stations and radio stations and pretty much anything that talks was
talking about "it", and this very special station which I had never
known existed while I was just helplessly switching stations came up and
I heard the beginning of your song and I just left it there and it began
and I just clung to every word and it was like you were just singing my
entire story from that morning , I could not believe it , and believe it
or not , your song has helped me through so much that I don't think I
can thank you enough, the other day I got very sick and I went to the
doctor and that's when I found out I was pregnant and 9 months later I
had a gorgeous baby girl who I named Kristy as well .Kristy Jackson, You
are my hero, you are a true angel, thank you for everything."

Dear Kristy,
"My name is Bill. I am a pilot for United Airlines, based in New York. All
the pilots on both Flts 93 & 175 were my fellow JFK crewmembers. I am also
a native New Yorker, so the attacks on our country have hit home
particularly hard. As pilots, we are very good at suppressing our
emotions, keeping a stiff upper lip. We train to remain calm and collected
during emergencies. Unfortunately this trait is not healthy when it comes
to dealing with stress we encounter in our personal lives, outside the
cockpit. I first heard your song on WPLJ while driving on the highway. As
I listened to the lyrics, I felt as if I was there myself. I saw myself
going to work as I have done hundreds of times before, and being faced
with what these heroes were faced with. In fact,
I have flown both of those flights in the months before September 11th. I
was suddenly overcome by tears and had to pull to the side of the road. It
was as if all the emotion I had been holding back for weeks came pouring
out at that moment. I want to thank you for helping me let those feelings
out. Listening to your voice as you sing those words brings tears to my
eyes every time. To me it is a tribute, an
anthem if you will, to the crews and the heroes,
particularly Flt 93 that crashed in Pennsylvania. I'd also like to thank
you on behalf of Captain Victor J. Saracini &
First Officer Michael R. Horrocks (flt 175), and Captain Jason M. Dahl &
First Officer Leroy W. Homer (flt 93) for paying tribute to them. I know
they are looking down from Heaven and showering you with prayers. I've
purchased 5 of your CD's so I can share them with my whole family. If you
ever perform in the N.Y. area I would love to come and watch your
performance. Thank you and God Bless You,"
Bill
"Dear Kristy,
I'm a 38 year old Physical Education teacher and Coach on Long Island in
New York. I have always considered myself to be a so called "tough guy."
The events of September 11th have obviously made all of us look at the
world in a much different way. I heard your song, "She'd Kissed a Hero" on
WPLJ in New York on my way to school one morning. There I was, a man who
has not really cried in almost 20 years, hysterical in my car. But the
song was so touching and emotional, it gave me a sense of peace and
tranquility in a very anxious and confusing time. I will never leave my
house again without telling my wife and two daughters how much I love
them. I am so happy I found your Web Site and have just ordered a copy of
the song. I have been telling everyone I know about the song and can't
wait to share it with all the people I care about in this world. Thank you
so much"
Dale
"Dearest Kristy,
I just want to say thank you for your beautiful song, "Little Did She
Know." I heard it in the way to work this morning ( on KIXY San Diego) and
I still have the lump in my throat! I shed tears at the words to this
beautiful song as it has special meaning to me in so many ways. I am a
flight attendant for United Airlines. I lost so many of my colleagues on
September 11th. I, like you, believe that everyone lost on that day,
became angels for all of us, especially our heroes on that Newark flight.
I have held back tears for 6 weeks now. I have been that "brave" person
that helps everyone else get through this. Somewhere along the way, I
forgot about, "me." Thank you for helping me find "me" again and I can now
let it all out and cry for everyones loss, including my own. Keep up your
wonderful career in music. You have changed lives thru your lyrics
especially my own. Thank you so much Kristy. I needed this! You are an
angel!
Sincerely, Marie
"Kristy, Let me introduce myself, I am a teacher of behaviorally and
emotionally disabled students in Greensboro, NC. Being that most of my
students have had extremely difficult lives (i.e.. taken away from their
parents and placed in group-homes) very little touches or impresses them.
Many of them seem emotionally dead inside. The events of September 11 did
shake them, but your song made them actually cry! Their behaviors have
drastically improved since they heard your song and they have actually
asked for hugs from our staff. I am sure at this point you realize that
your little ditty has touched many lives, but be assured it has changed
the lives of my teenage boys and girls. Thank you so much. You will always
have an opened invitation at our school. We truly hope that you can visit
us someday."
